MRYSC is pleased to offer RecPlus, a year-round program designed for our recreational players seeking additional training and competition. Players accepted into our program will train as a team and compete in local tournaments* while continuing to play in our local recreational league with their friends.

The purpose of the RecPlus program is to provide opportunities that advance the softball skills of our participants. With the coaching from trained coaches, players will develop their foundational skills at an accelerated pace, allowing them to successfully compete at higher levels of play. The program offers a bridge to the competitive worlds of travel and school softball.

PLAYER EVALUATIONS for our 2025 Spring RecPlus Program will be held in February 2025 (date TBD and you will receive an email with details)

Ages: RecPlus is available for players age 5-14 as of January 1, 2025. (Birth years 2011 through 2020)

Eligibility: RecPlus players must be registered participants for our fall and spring recreational seasons. 

Coaching: RecPlus teams will practice weekly with trained coaches. The RecPlus practice and game schedule will not interfere with the recreational game schedule.

Teams: RecPlus teams will compete within 6U, 8u, 10u,12u and 14u divisions. We will form teams by birth year where possible.

Cost: $350 for the 2025 Spring season. This is "all in" pricing and includes the cost of the RecPlus program, jerseys, insurance, equipment and all tournaments and/or scrimmages. Monthly payment plans are available.

*Local is typically within a 2 hour distance from Madison. If tournaments are not available we will play scrimmage games with other local tournament teams.
